AVrental.com.sg supported Mapletree for a full-day staff communication townhall held at Mapletree Business City Auditorium. The event was delivered across two sessions, serving both an in-person audience at the auditorium and a large global online audience watching through the webcast platform.
The online audience was geographically distributed across different countries, locations, and time zones. To support this, the webcast experience was designed not only for live viewing, but also for controlled video-on-demand access after the event. This allowed staff in countries affected by public holidays, or those unable to attend the live sessions due to time zone differences, to watch the townhall later through the platform.
The production combined physical event AV, live camera coverage, webcast streaming, bonded internet connectivity, platform access management, moderated live Q&A, and video-on-demand support, creating a controlled and professional communication experience for staff across multiple locations.

Mapletree needed to communicate with both staff attending physically at the auditorium and a much larger global online audience joining remotely from different countries, locations, and time zones. The event required more than a simple livestream. It needed a secure, managed webcast environment where each online attendee could access the session using their own login credentials.
For a corporate townhall of this nature, the experience had to feel controlled, polished, and reliable. The in-room audience needed proper AV support, while the online audience needed a smooth webcast experience with secure access, reliable streaming, and live Q&A capability.
Because the audience was distributed globally, the production also needed to support staff who could not attend live. Some countries had public holidays, while others were affected by time zone differences or scheduling constraints. This meant the webcast platform needed to support video-on-demand access after the live sessions, while still maintaining a controlled attendee experience.

The platform also included live moderated Q&A, allowing remote participants to submit questions during the session while giving the client control over which questions were reviewed and surfaced.
