How LED Wall Resolution Is Calculated
LED wall resolution is based on the number of physical LED pixels across the width and height of the wall.
For Motion Media Works panels, P2.9 is calculated at 168 pixels per 50cm, or 336 pixels per metre. P1.9 is calculated at 256 pixels per 50cm, or 512 pixels per metre.
For example, a 6m x 3m P2.9 LED wall is 2016 x 1008 pixels. The same physical size in P1.9 is 3072 x 1536 pixels.
Which Pixel Pitch Should You Choose?
P2.9 LED wall is suitable for stage backdrops, conferences, exhibitions and medium-distance viewing.
P1.9 LED wall is better for close viewing, premium display setups, camera backdrops, product launches and detailed graphics.
